The Hydros Drive Port 9ft Extension Cable is a purpose-built accessory for aquarists running HYDROS Control 2 or Control 4 systems who need additional cable reach between their hub and a connected Drive device. At 9 feet, it provides meaningful extra length for sump installations, equipment cabinets, or any setup where the controller and the driven accessory cannot be positioned in close proximity.
This cable is designed to work within the existing HYDROS Drive ecosystem without introducing compatibility issues or requiring configuration changes. It connects in-line with supported Drive accessories, extending placement flexibility while preserving the communication integrity the system depends on.
For hobbyists building out more complex or larger-format systems, cable management and component placement are recurring constraints. This extension addresses one of the more common friction points in a clean and manufacturer-supported way. It carries a 6-month limited warranty from CoralVue, covering defects in material and workmanship for the original purchaser.
