Before you run it

Start low, then ramp up

Don’t run this schedule at 100% until you know the PAR your lights are putting out. Too much light too quickly can bleach corals.

Start well below full intensity, measure PAR at the sand bed and the top of your rockwork, and raise intensity gradually while you watch coral color and polyp extension. Our SPS systems run about 275 to 400 PAR across the board.
