Dosing Pump - Hydros

The Hydros Dosing Pump gives reef keepers a straightforward, low-cost path to automated liquid supplementation without the complexity or expense of a standalone multi-head dosing unit. It connects directly to a Drive Port on any compatible Hydros Control hub and is programmed entirely within the Hydros App, inheriting the same scheduling and automation logic used across the rest of the Hydros ecosystem. Whether you're running a two-part calcium and alkalinity program or dosing trace elements on a fixed schedule, the pump handles it with minimal setup.

Performance specs are practical and honest. Average output is 43 mL/min, with a fluid volume range spanning 1 mL to 6,500 mL per dose cycle and an accuracy of +/-2%. The pump is rated for more than 2,000 hours of service life and operates quietly — a meaningful consideration when equipment is in or near a living space. The anti-siphon design prevents unintended flow when the pump is off, which matters when dosing concentrated reagents.

Power runs through a standard 12V supply via the included Hydros Drive Power Cable. If you need to run the pump independently from a non-Drive-Port source, a standard 12V power supply connected to a compatible WiFi strip outlet works as an alternative — though the primary use case is Drive Port operation. Note that multiple units should not share a single outlet if individual control is needed; each pump requires its own dedicated outlet for independent scheduling.

This pump is purpose-built for the Hydros ecosystem. It will not operate without a Hydros Control unit that has an available Drive Port, which is sold separately. If you are already running Hydros hardware, adding this dosing pump is a natural extension of that system. If you are new to Hydros, factor in the cost of a compatible controller when evaluating total setup cost.
