ReefControl ATO Module & Temp Sensor - Red Sea

The ReefControl ATO Module allows you to add a complete, fail-safe Automatic Top-Off system directly to your ReefControl Pro or Lite. Both the digital ATO sensor and the included DC pump plug straight into the controller, giving you full ATO functionality without needing a separate standalone ATO device.

This kit includes Red Sea’s digital ATO level sensor, a magnetic mounting bracket, 12V ATO pump, siphon breaker, tubing holder, and silicone tubing. The sensor also features a built-in high-accuracy temperature probe that supplies additional real-time temperature data, notifications, and logs. When paired with ReefControl Power, this temperature reading can also be used to operate DC cooling fans or AC heaters automatically.

With its solid-state design, variable-flow pump, and direct ReefControl integration, this module gives your system stable water-level control and expanded automation capabilities.

Detailed Description

Maintaining consistent salinity is essential for a healthy reef, and this ATO Module integrates that stability directly into your ReefControl ecosystem. When connected to a ReefControl Lite or Pro, it transforms the controller into a complete, smart ATO system.

The module is centered around two components: the digital ATO sensor and the 12V top-off pump.

The sensor uses a slim, solid-state design with no moving parts that can jam or wear out. Multiple titanium probes are used to sense water level accurately and reliably. In addition to its level-reading function, the sensor also includes a built-in thermometer accurate to 0.1°C, giving you an additional temperature reference in your sump or rear filtration area.

The included DC pump is quiet, compact, and serviceable. Its variable-flow output allows the ReefControl unit to maintain water level smoothly, helping prevent sudden salinity swings. Once connected, you can view ATO status, temperature logs, and alerts directly in the ReefBeat app.
