Tropic Marin NP-Bacto-Balance is designed to bring nitrate and phosphate into balance while maintaining the critical ratio reef systems need to function properly. Instead of simply lowering nutrients, it provides a controlled mix of carbon, nitrogen, and phosphorus, giving bacteria the tools they need to process excess nutrients efficiently without stripping your system.
In many tanks, one nutrient rises while the other bottoms out. When that happens, bacteria can’t fully metabolize what’s available, and traditional carbon dosing falls short. NP-Bacto-Balance restores that balance, allowing for consistent nutrient reduction while avoiding deficiencies that can stall coral growth or dull coloration.

Dosing Guidelines
Dose daily based on tank maturity:
New tanks (0–1 year): up to 0.25 mL per 25 gallons
Mid-age tanks (1–2 years): up to 0.5 mL per 25 gallons
Mature tanks (2+ years): 0.5–1.0 mL per 25 gallons
Dose in a high-flow area at the start of the light cycle. Adjust every couple of weeks based on nitrate and phosphate levels. Do not exceed 1 mL per 25 gallons per day.
If the water becomes cloudy, reduce the dosage to the previous level.
