Meridian Manual Controller - Reef Breeders

The Meridian Manual Controller is a standalone control accessory designed exclusively for Reef Breeders Meridian LED fixtures. It connects directly to the dedicated port on top of the light, requiring no app, Bluetooth, or Wi-Fi setup. For hobbyists who prefer tactile, immediate control over their lighting — or who simply want a reliable fallback outside of app-based scheduling — this controller provides a straightforward solution that works right out of the box.

Two rotary knobs handle intensity and color balance independently. One knob adjusts the white LED channels; the other controls the blue and violet LEDs. This split-channel approach lets you dial in the spectrum ratio that suits your coral's needs or your preferred visual appearance without navigating menus or software.

A single button cycles through four distinct operating modes. App Control mode hands authority back to the Reef Breeders app and disables manual inputs. Manual Control mode runs the fixture continuously at whatever intensity the knobs are currently set to, and it retains those settings through power interruptions. Sunrise/Sunset Timer mode ramps intensity up over one hour at the start of the cycle, holds steady through the day, and ramps down at the end — available in 8, 10, or 12-hour durations. Sun and Moonlight Timer mode mirrors the Sunrise/Sunset behavior during daylight hours, then adds a 1% cool-blue moonlight output overnight to maintain a naturalistic nighttime environment.

The controller ships with a wall mount bracket so it can be kept within reach and off the floor when not in use. It is compatible with Meridian fixtures that have the dedicated controller port and is not designed for use with other Reef Breeders product lines.
