The Meridian Hanging Wires provide a purpose-built suspension solution for Reef Breeders Meridian and Edge series lighting. Black-coated stainless steel construction keeps the hardware resistant to the humid, salt-laden environment above a reef tank while maintaining a consistent aesthetic with the fixture itself. Each wire spans an adjustable range of 6 inches to 9.5 feet, so whether you're working with a low ceiling, an open stand, or a wall-mounted track, there's enough travel to dial in the correct intensity and spread for your corals.
Installation is straightforward. Cables route through the mounting point at the top of the fixture and lock into position at the desired height. The black carabiner at the lower end clips directly to the light, eliminating loose hardware and allowing the fixture to be unclipped quickly when maintenance is needed. Any excess cable beyond your chosen height can be trimmed cleanly, so there's no coiled slack hanging above the tank.
Quantity requirements vary by fixture. Most Meridian configurations use two wires, sold as a convenient pair. The Meridian 63 — whether configured as a light-only unit or paired with Edge Bars — and the Meridian 45 with Edge Bars each require three sets due to the extended footprint of those models. Verify your fixture model before ordering to ensure you have the correct number of wires on hand.
