Rather than toggling a controlled outlet to manage pump behavior, this cable passes controller signals directly, giving you more precise and integrated command over the WaveEngine from within your existing controller ecosystem.
Beyond Neptune Systems compatibility, the cable works with any third-party controller that has a compatible signal output port, making it a broadly useful accessory for reef keepers who run mixed hardware from different manufacturers. The 0-10V interface is a common standard, so the WaveEngine can receive and act on signals from a range of systems without additional adapters.
Practical workflow improvements are the main reason to add this cable. When Feed Mode is initiated on the Apex, the WaveEngine responds automatically. Water change routines that shut down pumps at the controller level will include the WaveEngine in that action, removing the need to manage the HYDROS app separately in the same session.
