Hydros DC Micro Pump - Hydros

The Hydros DC Micro Pump is purpose-built to integrate with the HYDROS Control X2 and Control X4, turning either controller into a full auto top-off system when paired with a HYDROS Optical Water Level Sensor or Float Sensor. The pump plugs directly into a Drive Port, which supplies both power and control signals, eliminating the need for a separate power adapter or additional wiring. The result is a cleaner equipment area and one fewer thing to manage outside the HYDROS app.

Despite its compact footprint — 1.6" L x 1.062" W x 1.45" H — the pump moves up to 74 gallons per hour and pushes water against a maximum head pressure of 8 feet, making it appropriate for most sump-to-display top-off configurations. The 12V DC brushless motor draws a maximum of 4.5W and carries a rated service life of 30,000 hours, equivalent to more than three years of continuous operation. Tubing connections accept 8.5mm OD / 6.5mm ID tubing, a common size in ATO applications.

The GX12 aviation-style connector is a deliberate engineering choice: it preserves the IP65 rating of the Control X2 and Control X4, keeping those units dust-tight and protected from water spray regardless of orientation. For redundancy, the HYDROS platform allows additional optical or mechanical float sensors to be added to the ATO configuration, with adjustable high and low trigger points set through the app.
