Built for Limited Sump Space
The Elite 200SSS (Space Saver Super Cone) is built for systems up to 400 gallons where sump space may be limited. Its Super Cone "wine glass" body naturally stabilizes and concentrates organic-rich foam as it rises. The twist-and-lift collection cup makes removal and cleaning simple, the vented wedge valve gives precise control, and an underwater outflow keeps operation quiet.
Bioload Handling
Bioload refers to an aquarium's ability to process waste in proportion to tank volume. Protein skimmers work best when properly matched with the bioload of the system.

VarioS-4S Pump and Controller
The VarioS controller runs the pump at 5 different speeds and adds:
- Float switch connection: Use the included float switch to stop the skimmer pump when your waste collector is full, or stop a water pump at a high or low sump level, with no extra module or controller.
- Two pause/feed modes: Shut off the pump for 15 or 60 minutes while you feed the tank or do maintenance such as a water change.
- 0-10V input: Let a third-party controller such as the Neptune Systems Apex or Reef Angel run the pump, so your system controller becomes your DC pump controller.
The pump has a true slow start, ramping from zero RPM to the preset speed over approximately 10 seconds. Pump and controller connect via a waterproof 3-conductor union, and the volute rotates in 90-degree steps for vertical or horizontal output.
