Edge 24 - Reef Breeders

The Edge 24 is a 23.75-inch aluminum LED bar that draws up to 60 watts and covers 36 inches of tank length. Its Ocular Holo Matrix optics concentrate output rather than scatter it, making it a practical choice for tanks where you want light placed precisely — whether that's supplementing a center fixture, reaching the front or back of a deep tank, or serving as a standalone light over a smaller system. The included Edge OHM Focus optics reach tanks up to 48 inches deep with a front-to-back spread of up to 6 inches. Edge OHM Balance optics, sold separately, trade some depth for a wider 10-inch spread and suit tanks up to 36 inches deep.

Spectrum is chosen at the time of purchase. Reefer 14K blends white, blue, and UV for a natural look that works well for both corals and fish — it's the only reef option that includes white LEDs. Royal Ice combines royal blue and cool blue to maximize fluorescence and color pop, with no white LEDs added. UV/Blue Hybrid mixes royal blue, near-UV, violet, and indigo to enhance coral coloration and stimulate growth; it's particularly well-suited for pairing with the Meridian's Shallow Reef layout. The Freshwater spectrum blends 5.5K neutral white, 3.5K warm white, 7.5K cool white, and 465nm cool blue, optimized for planted tank growth.

Each spectrum runs two independent channels. App control via the ReefBreeders app supports per-channel scheduling, sunrise and sunset ramps, and remote access over 2.4GHz WiFi or Bluetooth. The built-in manual controller requires no app and runs the full bar as a single channel at up to 75% output with 8, 10, or 12-hour timer options. WiFi and Bluetooth are separate modes selected at setup; switching between them later requires a magnet key reset.

The Edge 24 mounts using adjustable M6 bolts on top of the case, which accommodate hanging wires, back-of-tank mounts, and T-track systems. Front and rear tracks on the bar accept Edge Articulating Mounts for attachment to a Meridian fixture, letting you angle the bar toward the rockwork or toward the glass as needed. Hanging wires and articulating mounts are sold separately. If you're pairing the Edge 24 with a Meridian, the Meridian Edge Bar Bundles include the mounts and power configuration already sorted.
