It provides a safe zone for copepods, amphipods, and other beneficial microfauna to thrive—enhancing filtration and supporting a healthier reef environment.

The unit features an integrated light shield to prevent unwanted light spill into the main display and is compatible with the UNS Mini Refugium Light (sold separately). It mounts easily with an adjustable clamp for a secure, custom fit within the rear filtration chamber.
