Aquarium Control Board Wire Management System - CoralVue
Goes well with:
The CoralVue Aquarium Control Board gives hobbyists a dedicated, purpose-built surface for mounting and concealing the control equipment that typically clutters the cabinet beneath a reef system. Controllers, modules, and surface-mountable dosers mount cleanly to the front panel, while all associated cabling, power bricks, and adapters stay out of sight inside the enclosed back. The result is a setup that looks intentional rather than improvised, and one that is genuinely safer to work around.
The board is constructed from ½" expanded PVC — the same class of material used in cabinetry and signage that demands dimensional stability and moisture resistance. It is fire-rated, non-conductive, and will not rot, warp, or corrode in the humid environment under an aquarium stand. Despite its rigidity, it machines like wood: it can be cut, drilled, sanded, or screwed without special tooling, so adding custom mounts or additional cut-outs is straightforward.
Inside the cabinet, wire management is handled through a layered system. Ten cord cut-outs (4" × 1.25" each) route cables from front-mounted equipment through to the interior. Two zip tie tracks run along the interior surface so power bricks and cord runs can be positively secured rather than left to shift over time. A dedicated internal power brick shelf raises supplies off the cabinet floor, reducing both moisture exposure and the stacking that contributes to overheating.
The board ships ready to hang via an included mounting cleat with an integrated level. It is sized to fit inside or beside a standard aquarium stand and is manufactured in the USA. For hobbyists running multiple Hydros modules, Neptune systems, or similar controller ecosystems, this board provides a practical way to centralize equipment without sacrificing the appearance of the display.
