What's going on reefers? Blaine here. In today's reefing industry, automation has become so prevalent and controllers have started to take over the market. Whether it be automating your equipment, sending you alerts, or stopping disasters before they happen. Today, we're going to be talking about the Red Sea Reef Control family and all the different pieces that have to go with it. Things like the Reef Control Pro, Reef Sense Digital Probes, and the Reef Control Power. [music] Let's get to know more about the Red Sea Control ecosystem and see what they're all about. Reef Control is more than just a controller. It's a complete monitoring ecosystem built around digital Reef Sense probes and sensors. Depending on the model and the setup you go with, you can monitor up to seven probes while integrating Red Sea equipment and many third-party devices through the Reef Beat app. The biggest innovation is the digital probe technology. Traditional controllers rely on analog probes that transmit raw electric signals which can be affected by electrical interference. Reef Sense probes [music] convert measurements into digital data inside the probe before sending them to the controller unit, helping provide more reliable readings. Those digital electronics don't just improve measurement accuracy, they also unlock features that simply aren't possible with traditional analog probes. One of our favorites is the Bluetooth remote mode, which we'll come back to here shortly. When it comes to the controller family itself, there's three different products available. the Reef Control Light, Reef Control Pro, [music] and Reef Control Pro Deluxe Kit. Mentioned all over the Red Sea website, you'll see that the Reef Control Pro Deluxe [music] kit is technically the best value, allowing you to support up to four ReefSense probes, [music] and it can be expanded to up to seven. The Reef Sense range currently includes temperature, pH and temp, salinity, and temp, OP, at temp, and leak detection. The Reef Control Power is an independent power hub for Red Sea and also non- Red Sea devices. This is integrating both into the Reef Beats feeding schedules and maintenance routines. This is also part of the Reef Control family, enabling you to control any device based on ReefSense probe and sensor readings. Reef Control power monitors power consumption per socket in real time and can connect directly to the Reef Sense temperature probe, allowing you to operate your heater without an [music] additional controller. The deluxe version includes a control panel with backlit on andoff push buttons per each individual socket. Any Reef Sense probe can connect to any available port. [music] Whether you need multiple temperature probes, additional leak detectors, or if you want to expand on the monitoring later, the system is designed to grow with you and your aquarium. Mentioned earlier was one feature that really stood out, and that was the Bluetooth remote mode. At first, we assume this is simply meant connecting to the controller via your phone with Bluetooth. But actually, it's much more useful than that because each ReefSense probe stores [music] its own calibration data and internal electronics. So that way you can disconnect it from the aquarium and utilize it as a portable measuring device. Imagine you're mixing up a fresh batch of salt water instead of grabbing an old refratoter or trying to figure out what the salenity is. You can unplug your ReefSense salinity probe and take it directly to your [music] mixing station. Utilizing the ReefB app over Bluetooth, you can instantly verify the salinity and temperature of your freshly mixed salt water. After you're all done, you can reconnect the probe to your reef control system and all things are back into operation. [music] Now, who is Reef Control for? This is an excellent choice for hobbyists of all levels and some that are invested into the ReefBeat ecosystem already. If you want to have a module controller system that can expand with you, the Reef Control family might be the right option for your Reef aquarium. Something that makes Reef Control stand out above the others isn't simply that it monitors [music] your aquarium, but it's how it approaches monitoring in general. Digital probes, probebased calibration, modular expansion, Bluetooth remote mode, and much more. This makes it one of the most modern control ecosystems available on the market. For reef keepers looking for dependable monitoring with straightforward automation, [music] Reef Control is definitely worth a closer look. [music] We could go on and on about the Reef Control family in today's video, but I just wanted to give you guys a brief overview of some brand new products hitting the line. And speaking of brand new products, if you want to check these out right now, head over to the website and shop the entire Red Sea line and also check out the Reef Control family. If you guys have tuned in all the way till the end, I want to say thank you very much. Be sure to like, subscribe, and hit the bell notification so you don't miss out on any future uploads.
