Open Box Supplies Return Policy

We are pleased to accept returns on Open Box purchases within 14 days of the purchase date. Each Open Box product is carefully reviewed to ensure it is in full working order, guaranteeing your satisfaction.

Return Conditions:

  • Returns must be initiated within 30 days of purchase.
  • A 20% restocking fee will be applied to all Open Box item returns.
  • Refunds will be issued to the original method of payment.
  • Please contact us prior to returning any items for specific return instructions.
  • All returned items must be in the same condition as sold, with all included accessories. If they are not, Top Shelf Aquatics reserves the right to decline the return.

Open Box Warranty

If you encounter any issues with one of our Open Box items, please contact us immediately. We provide a 14-day warranty from the date of purchase for all Open Box sales. Please note that manufacturer warranties may not apply to Open Box items, as most manufacturers only offer warranties for new product sales.

Warranty Conditions:

  • For warranty claims, the item must be returned to us for testing and evaluation before a refund is issued.
  • Top Shelf Aquatics does not cover the cost of return shipping to and from the customer

Be sure you know what you are receiving with our grading system

We offer a variety of discounted items for reasons such as customer returns or minor cosmetic issues. These items, often from manufacturers that rarely offer sales, provide a great opportunity to purchase at a discounted price. Each item's condition and appearance are meticulously reviewed and graded individually:

  • 3 Stars: Essentially new, the box has been opened but shows very little to no sign of use.
  • 2 Stars: Very clean, may have slight blemishes or wear marks that do not affect overall function.
  • 1 Star: May be missing packaging but includes all required parts to operate or may have obvious cosmetic blemishes.


Reward Points & Returns

Reward points earned on the original order will be deducted from the account upon accepting the return. If the reward points have already been used, the overall refund will be adjusted accordingly.

Notes for All Shipments & Returns

  • Shipping and delivery fees are non-refundable.
  • Please retain all product packaging and tags until you are completely satisfied with your purchase.
  • Inspect all items for damage immediately upon arrival.
  • Customers are responsible for all return shipping costs to and from Top Shelf Aquatics.
  • Open Box items shipped to Top Shelf Aquatics outside the 14-day period or without prior approval will be returned to the customer at their expense.
