It uses a PL-S fluorescent UV-C lamp housed behind a quartz sleeve to neutralize algae, bacteria, and pathogenic microorganisms. A built-in safety switch automatically cuts power to the lamp when the unit is opened for maintenance. Available in 7W, 9W, and 13W versions to suit tank volumes from 25 to 250 gallons. The 2-year guarantee covers the unit itself; replacement lamps are available separately.

The Sicce UV-C Clarifier brings UV sterilization to setups where space and installation flexibility matter. Its IP68 rating means it can be fully submerged in a sump or pond without additional housing, and the included barb fittings allow straightforward in-line connection to soft hose, pumps, or canister filters.
