The Sicce Syncra SDC 3.0 brings DC efficiency and WiFi connectivity to Sicce's established line of submersible and external return pumps. Running on 24V DC, the pump draws between 6 and 35 watts across its 200–800 GPH flow range, making it considerably more energy-efficient than equivalent AC pumps while still delivering 7.5 ft of max head — enough for most sump-to-display returns. The included Contrall SDC Wi-Fi Controller handles on-unit adjustments through a capacitive interface, and the free ContrALL app (iOS and Android) extends full control to any location with an internet connection.
Through the ContrALL app, users can access and fully customize five pre-set flow modes, schedule a 10-minute feed pause, or activate a 7-hour ECO mode for reduced nighttime flow. The SDC line is also compatible with Neptune Systems Apex Fusion, allowing the pump to integrate into an existing Apex-based automation setup without additional hardware. Alerts and flow adjustments can be made remotely, which is particularly useful during travel or when an unexpected temperature swing occurs.
The pump's integrated temperature probe monitors water as it passes through the impeller housing. The ContrALL app displays readings in either °C or °F and sends push notifications when temperature crosses a user-defined threshold — a practical early-warning system that requires no additional probe or module. Sicce's proprietary hydraulic design, combined with forced internal recirculation, keeps heat transfer to a minimum, which matters for tanks where pump-generated heat is a concern.
Tool-free maintenance is a practical highlight. The pre-chamber separates without tools, giving direct access to the impeller for inspection and cleaning. The polished ceramic shaft and tight-tolerance bearings contribute to near-silent operation, and four silencer feet decouple the pump housing from cabinet surfaces. For sump builds where the pump sits externally, the 1" female GAS inlet and outlet accept the included flexible pipe barb fittings (3/4"–1" and 1/2"–1"), covering most common plumbing configurations. A 10 ft power cable provides reasonable routing flexibility, and the pump carries a 5-year warranty with online registration.
