RMS Radion XR15 G5 & G6 Tank Mount System - EcoTech Marine

Ceiling suspension is not always an option — low ceilings, canopies, or room layouts can make hanging a Radion impractical. The EcoTech Marine RMS XR15 Tank Mount System solves this by clamping directly to the tank rim and holding the XR15 at the correct height and position without requiring any wall or ceiling hardware. The result is a clean, self-contained lighting setup that works in virtually any environment.

The mount is built around an aluminum arm that will not flex or bow under load, giving you confidence that the fixture stays exactly where you position it. A sliding extension bar lets you shift the light forward or backward over the aquarium for fine-tuned placement, and multiple extension rails are included in the kit to accommodate different tank widths. The innovative clamp mechanism handles both standard rimmed tanks and rimless designs, accepting any rim or trim up to 1-3/8" thick.

Cord management is integrated directly into the arm — grooves running along the rail hide the fixture cable and keep the outside of the tank tidy. Setup is straightforward and does not require tools beyond what is included. Backwards compatibility across all Radion generations means this mount will continue to be useful if you upgrade your light down the road.

Before ordering, confirm that you have at least 13" of clearance above the RMS installation point, as the arm and clamp assembly require that headroom. This system mounts a single XR15 fixture; larger tanks running multiple fixtures will need one mount per light.
