Designed and manufactured in the U.S., the fixture reflects Reef Brite's focus on build quality and spectral precision in a slim, strip-style form.
The Pro Ultra Actinic adds a dedicated Violet channel alongside Reef Brite's well-established Blue channel. These two channels operate independently through the included inline dimmers, giving the aquarist direct control over the ratio of violet to blue output without any additional controller hardware. This level of spectral tuning is particularly useful for dialing in coral coloration or matching the actinic profile of an existing primary fixture.
The strip format is intentional. It slots into aquariums where a full-sized pendant or bar light won't fit, and it serves equally well as a supplemental source over tanks that already have a primary lighting system but need more actinic punch. For larger systems or higher light-demand setups, multiple units can be run in parallel to scale PPFD as needed.
The fixture ships with everything required for a straightforward installation: the strip fixture itself, a 2-way connector, a power supply, inline dimmers, and Lumi Lite legs.
