Mini Aquarium Control Board Wire Management System - Hydros

The Hydros Mini Aquarium Control Board gives hobbyists a structured, purpose-built solution for mounting aquarium controllers and managing the tangle of cords and power bricks that typically accumulate beneath a display tank. The front face accepts controllers, modules, and surface-mountable dosers in an organized, visible layout, while the interior keeps cables and power supplies out of sight and off the floor of the stand.

Construction uses ½" expanded PVC throughout — a lightweight, fire-rated material that is inert, non-conductive, and fully water-resistant. Unlike wood, it will not rot or swell in the humid environment under an aquarium. It can be cut, drilled, sanded, or screwed just like plywood, so mounting hardware seats cleanly without special tools or fasteners.

Wire routing is handled by ten cut-outs, each measuring 4 × 1.25 inches, which guide cords cleanly from the front mounting surface to the interior without bunching. An internal power brick shelf (2.625 × 9 inches) raises power supplies off the floor of the cabinet, reducing moisture exposure and eliminating the stacking of bricks that creates heat and fire risk. A mounting cleat with an integrated level is included to simplify installation and ensure the board hangs plumb on the first attempt.

At 15.75 × 14 × 3.5 inches, the Mini board is sized for smaller setups and fits comfortably inside most standard aquarium stands. It is an appropriate choice for nano and mid-size reef systems where space is limited but equipment organization is still a priority.
