The Meridian Side-of-Tank Mounts give Meridian owners a clean, purpose-built way to position their light without relying on a canopy or hanging system. Each leg attaches to the side of the fixture and extends outward to rest on the tank rim, creating a stable bridge that works on tanks considerably wider than the light itself — up to 16 inches of total additional span across both sides.
Height adjustment is one of the more useful aspects of this mount. The legs offer a continuous mounting range of 5 to 10 inches above the tank rim, letting you dial in the distance from water surface to fixture based on your coral placement and light intensity preferences. The reversible leg design adds a second height ceiling: flipping the legs gives you a maximum of 10 inches on one orientation and 9 inches on the other, providing a bit of additional flexibility depending on how your tank and stand are configured.
Compatibility with tank hardware was clearly considered in the design. The included U-clamps grip standard tank trims up to 1 inch thick, which covers the vast majority of rimmed glass and acrylic systems on the market. For tanks with Euro-Brace construction, the legs can be oriented flat-side down to sit across the brace rather than clamping over a trim piece.
The kit includes everything needed for installation: four black mounting legs, two U-clamps, and a full hardware and screw set. No sourcing additional fasteners or adapters. For Meridian owners who prefer a side-mount over a hanging or canopy setup, this is a straightforward, properly matched solution.
