Hydros X10 Aquarium Controller - Hydros

The Hydros X10 is designed for aquarists who want a single controller capable of dosing, monitoring, and driving ancillary equipment without relying on a patchwork of separate devices. Out of the box it handles four independent dosing channels, temperature monitoring, pH or ORP measurement, and up to two 12V drive ports for ATO pumps, cooling fans, solenoids, and similar accessories. Expand the system through optional accessories to add salinity and alkalinity monitoring, water-level sensing, leak detection, and flow measurement — all managed through the same app interface.

The four high-precision stepper dosers use color-coded heads and tubing and are engineered for quiet, exact metering. Whether you run a two-part system, trace element protocol, or automated water-change routine, each pump operates independently and can be scheduled to the minute or driven by real-time sensor data. The pH/ORP probe port uses an ultra-high-quality input chip with digital galvanic isolation, keeping probe readings free from electrical noise generated by pumps and motors elsewhere in the system.

Four Sense Ports give the X10 meaningful flexibility. A single port type accepts temperature sensors, optical fluid-level sensors, leak-detection probes, flow meters, and TDS sensors — so the same hardware adapts as your system grows. A dedicated salinity probe port rounds out the monitoring capabilities for reef tanks where conductivity measurement is a routine check. Two Command Bus connections let the X10 share data and power with other HYDROS devices, enabling failsafe logic across a more complex multi-unit setup.

The X10 runs on a dual-core 32-bit processor that evaluates control logic locally, so automation continues even during network interruptions. The IP65-rated enclosure and aircraft-style connectors provide long-term protection against splashes and salt spray. Setup is handled entirely through the HYDROS app — no programming language to learn. Note that a HYDROS WiFi Power Strip, Control XP8, or Smart Plug is required to switch AC outlets and is not included with the X10.
