Getting the most out of the Hydra Edge 44HD starts with proper placement, and the Hydra Flex Arm exists to make that straightforward. Rather than improvising with generic hardware, this kit gives you a mounting arm engineered around the 44HD's form factor, pairing a dedicated adapter with a C-bracket sized for rimless tanks. The result is a stable, low-profile mount that keeps cabling organized and the aquarium's sightlines intact.
The flex arm's articulating design lets you dial in horizontal reach and height independently, so you can position the fixture exactly where your coral or fish benefit most without being locked into a single fixed point. Adjustments are simple enough to make during regular maintenance without disrupting the entire setup.
The included C-bracket clamps to rimless glass edges cleanly, avoiding the need for drilled holes or additional mounting hardware. The adapter plate bridges the bracket to the 44HD's mounting interface, ensuring a secure fit without any improvised shimming or adapters.
Before purchasing, confirm your display is a rimless-style aquarium and that your fixture is the Hydra Edge 44HD specifically. Aqua Illumination does not recommend this arm for the 68HD model, and fit cannot be guaranteed on rimmed or custom-framed tanks. The Hydra Edge 44HD light is sold separately.
