Designed to fit directly into most standard 4-inch filter sock chambers, the patent-pending Klir Di-4 automatically advances clean 50-micron filter fleece as it becomes clogged, providing crystal-clear water while dramatically reducing maintenance.
Instead of constantly removing and washing dirty filter socks, the Klir Di-4 continuously removes suspended debris and organic waste before it has a chance to break down into nitrate and phosphate. An integrated magnetic optical sensor monitors the water level inside the filter. As the fleece becomes clogged and the water level rises, the sensor activates the motor to advance a fresh section of fleece. Once clean media is exposed, water flow returns to normal and the motor automatically stops.
The result is consistent mechanical filtration, improved water clarity, and weeks to months of maintenance-free operation depending on your aquarium’s bioload and feeding schedule.
