Each box contains 25 pre-measured packets manufactured using high-purity chemicals in Hanna's own production facility. The pre-measured format removes the guesswork and volumetric error associated with liquid reagents, making it practical to run consistent tests without additional preparation.
These reagents operate on the Bicinchoninate Method. When a packet is added to the water sample, copper in the sample reacts with the reagent to produce a purple tint. The HI702 checker reads the resulting color and calculates the copper concentration, displaying the result in ppm. The working range of 0.00 to 5.00 ppm makes this suitable for aquariums where copper-based medications or treatments are actively being used and need to be monitored closely.
Each packet is individually marked with a lot number and expiration date, allowing users to verify reagent integrity and maintain records for traceability.
