The Porthole Studio Mark II is a modular reef photography system with a precisely engineered optical interface designed for DSLR and mirrorless photography. Rebuilt from the ground up on our new MIIM (Mark II Modular) architecture, the Porthole Studio is designed for the uncompromising reef photographer who demands optical integrity and mechanical stability. This is no longer merely a window into your reef; it has become an extension of your professional glass.

• 100mm MIIM Architecture: The Porthole Studio is anchored by our proprietary 100mm heavy-duty threading. This cinema-inspired architecture enables rapid, tool-free configuration, allowing you to swap between extensions and prime lens adapters in seconds.
• Optimized Light Path: We have optimized the internal geometry to a diameter of 90mm (3.5"). This precise calibration ensures compatibility with contemporary professional lens profiles, greatly minimizing internal bounce and stray light, which results in improved contrast and more accurate color saturation.
• Reinforced Studio Mount: The Mark II Upper Assembly features soft-nylon axial thumbscrews. Engineered with embedded 6/6 nylon hex nuts, this mount provides a secure, non-slip grip that protects your lens barrel while maintaining the optical path perfectly centered.
• Rapid Evacuation Design: Internal air chambering enables near-instant air evacuation upon submersion, ensuring that no trapped bubbles ruin your shot.
• Ionic Air-Cleaned Optics: Every Porthole Studio unit undergoes a proprietary ionic-exchange cleaning process. We ensure all components are free of debris before they contact your water or glass, maintaining the pristine environment needed for high-resolution macro capture.
• Tactile Depth Reference: Our signature silicone logo band is placed at the 4-inch mark. This creates a subtle, functional waterline guide, helping you keep a steady depth of field without ever losing sight of the viewfinder.
