Normally, you’d have to dose acid into tank water samples, monitor pH changes, and calculate your levels by hand. Not only is this time-consuming, but repeating it daily can quickly become a chore.

The AquaWiz KH Controller changes all of that. This revolutionary system automatically measures and can even maintain your tank’s KH without the need for disposable test solutions. Instead, it uses a reusable reference solution (such as stable seawater from your system), which is recycled throughout the testing process. That means no acid waste, no harmful byproducts, and no constant refills of test kits. It’s a cleaner, greener way to keep alkalinity under control.

Built with reef tanks in mind, the KH Controller can test as often as every hour, giving you real-time insight into your system’s stability. If alkalinity falls, its onboard dosing pump can automatically deliver precise corrections. The controller features advanced safety and convenience functions, including auto-resume after power outages, water level monitoring for the reference reservoir, and smart electrode detection that alerts you when probes need replacement.

Aquarists can monitor readings and trends remotely through AquaWiz’s secure online portal, complete with email notifications when parameters move outside your set range. Measurement intervals are customizable between 1–6 hours, and data is viewable in line-chart format so you can track consumption and stability over time.

Specifications include a compact 7.08” x 7.08” x 7.48” body, KH precision to ±0.05, and compatibility with 12V control outputs for integration with dosing systems or pH controllers.
