The Hydros Rope Leak Sensor Extension is a straightforward accessory for aquarists who have already deployed a Hydros leak sensor and need to extend its detection coverage. The rope itself is the sensing element — water contact anywhere along its length triggers the connected sensor module, making it practical for monitoring sump cabinets, equipment rooms, or any area where a standard cable run falls short.
At 9 feet (2.7m) in length and 0.18 inches (4.7mm) in diameter, the rope is slim enough to route along baseboards, under equipment, or around plumbing without being obtrusive. Because this listing is for the cable only, a compatible Hydros leak sensor must already be in place before this extension adds any functional value.
This is an open-box unit. Buyers should verify the rope shows no visible damage before installation. CoralVue's one-year limited warranty applies from the date of purchase, covering defects in materials and workmanship under normal use conditions.
