Setting Up Your Neptune Systems Gear

Apex Controller:
Mount the Apex base unit in a dry, easily accessible area near your aquarium. Use Neptune’s probe holders to secure pH, temperature, and salinity probes in the sump or display tank. Connect equipment like heaters, lights, and return pumps to the Energy Bar 832 for smart control and power monitoring. Make sure all AquaBus and 1LINK cables are neatly routed to avoid tangling and water exposure.

Trident Water Analyzer:
Install the Trident in a stable, level location and connect it to the Apex via AquaBus. Use the included tubing to draw water from the sump and drain waste into a collection container. Ensure reagent bottles are secure and labeled for easy monitoring. Prime the system and perform the initial calibration to begin automated testing.

DOS Dosing System:
Mount the DOS near the Trident or dosing containers. Secure dosing lines with Neptune’s tube holders or magnetic clips to prevent kinks or dislodgement. Use Apex Fusion to set up your dosing schedule or enable auto-dosing when paired with Trident readings.

AFS Auto Feeder:
Clip the AFS to the rim of your tank or sump with the included bracket. Keep it above waterline to avoid moisture buildup in the feed drum. Apex Fusion allows you to trigger feedings manually or schedule them to run during times of low flow.

Energy Bar 832:
Use included mounting brackets and ensure that high-power devices like heaters or return pumps are on separate outlets to avoid overload. Label each outlet in Apex Fusion for easy identification and control.
