The ReefSense Salinity & Temperature Probe delivers precise, real-time monitoring of two of the most important parameters in any saltwater aquarium. When connected to a ReefControl Lite or Pro, it provides continuous readings, notifications, and detailed logs through the ReefBeat app. Both salinity and temperature can also be used as control inputs for automation when paired with ReefControl Power.

This advanced probe uses a custom 4-pole conductivity sensor engineered specifically for the corrosive and high-interference environment of a reef system. Salinity readings are automatically temperature-compensated and can be displayed in PSU (ppt), mS, or Specific Gravity. Salinity accuracy is within +/-1 percent, and temperature readings are accurate to 0.05°C.

The ReefSense Salinity & Temp Probe gives you continuous, high-accuracy digital monitoring so you no longer have to rely on manual checks or handheld meters.

Unlike analog conductivity probes, this ReefSense model converts its signal to a secure digital output inside the probe. This eliminates electromagnetic interference from pumps, skimmers, powerheads, and lighting—one of the most common causes of unstable readings on older probe designs.

The heart of the probe is its bespoke 4-pole conductivity sensor. This design improves accuracy, extends service life, and provides more reliable readings in high-biofilm environments like sumps. Automatic temperature compensation ensures that salinity data is corrected to reflect true values, regardless of water temperature fluctuations.
