Kessil inherits a thorough knowledge of light and a solid business culture as a division of DiCon. The parent firm has a quarter-century history of producing equipment for the telecom, defense/military, and biomedical industries that focus high-speed laser beams onto tiny, hair-sized fiber optic connections. To create a plant light that stands out from the competition, Kessil put together a group of product designers, plant biologists, and lighting engineers who are all specialists in their respective fields of study.
