Green Birdsnest Coral

The Green Birdsnest Coral is a vibrant addition to any reef aquarium, bringing a touch of the Indo-Pacific right into your home. This is a cut-to-order frag, and we may need up to 2 weeks for healing if we do not have one prepped. Therefore, we recommend selecting a shipping date at least a week away from purchase. Each frag size measures approximately 1/2 inch.

For mounting, use IC gel glue, putty, or a combination of both to place your new coral on a rock or ledge that receives direct lighting and ample flow. Top Shelf Aquatics recommends feeding Birdsnest corals with a combination of Zooplanktons, Phytoplanktons, Amino Acids, and other Organic Proteins. A daily broadcast feeding, while return and circulation pumps are stopped, will ensure the corals have the ability to consume the nutrients they require.

Regarding care, Birdsnest corals require moderate to high water flow and moderate lighting to maintain proper color and health. They thrive under T5’s, Metal Halides, or LED’s lighting, provided the appropriate PAR levels are achieved. We recommend a lighting spectrum of 18-20K for the best coloration.
