Fighting Conchs are great medium-sized sand sifters/cleaners and make a wonderful addition to any large saltwater aquarium. Fighting Conchs will burrow and plow through sand, cleaning it as they go. They will stir and clean the top layers of your sand bed removing detritus, algae and other unwanted debris. Fighting Conchs, despite their name, are considered to be very reef safe and peaceful.
