This cut-to-order frag, which may require up to 2 weeks for healing, is a testament to our commitment to delivering the highest quality specimens. With a recommended shipping date at least a week from purchase, we ensure your coral arrives in optimal condition.

Placement of this 1/2 inch frag is crucial for its success. Using IC gel glue, putty, or a combination of both, mount your new coral on a rock or ledge that receives direct lighting and ample flow. For feeding, Top Shelf Aquatics recommends a combination of Zooplanktons, Phytoplanktons, Amino Acids, and other Organic Proteins. A daily broadcast feeding with return and circulation pumps off ensures the coral receives the nutrients it needs.

In terms of care, Birdsnest corals require moderate to high water flow and moderate lighting to maintain proper coloration. Suitable lighting options include T5’s, Metal Halides, or LED’s, with a recommended 18-20K color spectrum for best coloration. They're known for their easy care level, moderate lighting and water flow requirements, and peaceful nature. Originating from the Indo-Pacific, these corals are aqua-cultured in Florida under optimal conditions to ensure their health and vibrancy.
