The Multi-Light RMS Track is the horizontal backbone of EcoTech Marine's Multi-Light Radion Mounting System, bridging the two vertical RMS Arms that clamp to your tank. At 40.5 inches, this track is sized for aquariums ranging from 38.5 to 48.5 inches in width (model XR703-0405). It does not ship as a complete mounting kit — you will also need to purchase RMS Arms and RMS Slides separately to build a functional system.
One of the more practical aspects of this track is its ability to carry both XR15 and XR30 fixtures at the same time. If your lighting plan calls for a mix of light sizes, or if you plan to add fixtures later, the track supports that without modification. The RMS Slides that attach to the track are adjustable, letting you dial in the exact horizontal position of each Radion rather than being locked into fixed mounting points.
The track is machined from anodized aluminum, keeping weight low while maintaining the rigidity needed to hold multiple fixtures without flex. Built-in cable management runs along the track to keep power and data cabling organized and out of sight. Mounted Radions sit approximately 7 inches (18 cm) above the waterline, a height that works well for the spread and intensity profile of both XR15 and XR30 optics.
This system is compatible with rimmed, rimless, and euro-braced tank designs, with tank-side clamping handled by the RMS Arms. If you are outfitting a larger or smaller tank, EcoTech offers this track in eight lengths from 20.5 to 90.5 inches — confirm your tank width against the published range for each size before ordering.
