The Moyer’s Leopard Wrasse should be maintained in a mature saltwater aquarium with abundant live rock, open swimming areas, and a deep bed of fine sand. Adult males reach approximately 4.5–5 inches, but this active forager benefits from substantial territory and well-established rockwork.
Provide approximately 3–4 inches of fine, soft sand so the wrasse can bury itself completely at night or whenever frightened. Coarse gravel or sharp substrates should be avoided because repeated burrowing can damage the skin and mouth.
Established live rock is equally important, providing both shelter and a continual source of naturally occurring copepods, amphipods, and other small prey. Moderate water movement, strong oxygenation, and stable water quality are recommended.

Diet and Feeding
