Overview

Flowerpot Coral shows long, waving polyps with daisy-like tips from a rounded skeletal base. Goniopora stokesi is a stony coral with free-living, dome-shaped colonies that prefers moderate light and gentle to moderate, indirect flow. It is photosynthetic with symbiotic algae, and small particulate foods can support growth and polyp extension. Place on sand or a stable area with room to expand, and keep distance from aggressive corals to prevent stings.
