Rabbitfish Care Guide: Reef-Safe Algae Eaters for Serious Hobbyists
Introduction to Rabbitfish Care Rabbitfish belong to the genus Siganus, a group of herbivorous saltwater fish from the Indo-Pacific region known for...
Micro brittle stars are primarily scavengers and micro-predators that consume detritus, leftover fish food, biofilm, and tiny invertebrates living in the rock. In well-fed reef tanks they often need little direct feeding, but in cleaner systems they can slowly starve. Feed small amounts 2–4 times per week near their hiding areas: finely chopped marine meaty foods (mysis, brine, krill dust), small sinking pellets, powdered reef foods, or tiny bits of seafood. Target feeding with a pipette after lights out works well, since they extend arms to grab particles. Avoid overfeeding; their best long-term support is a balanced tank with regular fish feeding and a healthy sand/rock ecosystem.
