For optimal growth and coloration, mount your new SPS coral using IC gel glue, putty, or a combination of both. It should be placed on a rock or ledge in a location that receives direct lighting and ample flow. Top Shelf Aquatics recommends feeding hard corals with a combination of Zooplanktons, Phytoplanktons, Amino Acids, and other Organic Proteins. A daily broadcast feeding with the return and circulation pumps off will help ensure the corals receive the nutrients they need.

Hard corals thrive under high water flow and high lighting conditions. Whether you use T5's, Metal Halides, or LED's, achieving the correct PAR levels is crucial. A color spectrum of 14-20K is recommended for the best coloration. This Acropora coral requires a care level considered high, with specific water conditions to flourish: 75-80° F; sg 1.025-1.026; pH 8.1-8.4, Ca 420-440 ppm, Alk 8-9.5 dKH, Mg 1300-1450, Nitrates <10ppm, and Phosphates <.10ppm.
