The ReefMat was created with the hobbyist in mind and has a simple fleece-mat changeover mechanism that enables you to exchange rolls without removing the filter from the sump or turning off the pumps. ReefMat has an unrivaled smart drive unit that regulates and monitors the precise length of fleece-mat that is employed, as well as a fail-proof solid-state level sensor. ReefMat, which is Wi-Fi connected to Red Sea’s ReefBeat smart aquarium eco-system, will let you know if the fleece-mat wears out or tears, alert you when it needs to be replaced, and even keep track of your daily usage.

The ReefMat is sent fully built and ready to use. The ReefMat may be placed anyplace in your sump that has the room available because it is designed to hang on a sump wall to save space and comes with mounting legs. Installation is possible for any sump configuration since the driving unit and intake hose may both be placed on either side of the ReefMat.

ReefBeat sends you timely information if the fleece should become trapped or ripped as well as when it requires repair. The motor won’t even try to feed any more fleece if an error happens until the problem is fixed. To help you prepare, the end of Roll Monitor tool displays the daily average use and the number of days you have left on the filter roll.
