Pump for Circulation OCTO VarioS This OCTO series DC circulation pump, OCTO VarioS, is similar to the DC Skimmer Pump in that it has a higher maximum delivery head, a high-quality ceramic shaft and bearing to reduce wear and tear, and the most recent variable speed flow technology for improved control, improved performance, energy efficiency, and safer operations. Our OCTO VarioS pump has several significant advantages over traditional AC pumps, including higher energy efficiency, safer operations at a working voltage of 24V (VarioS 6 and VarioS 8 use DC36V), less heat produced with every volume of water flow, and most notably, the variable speed control to adjust the water flow rates. Most circulation pumps use alternating current (AC), but our VarioS pump doesn’t.

Enhanced Control

The bespoken controller gives customers complete control over flow rates by allowing them to choose from five preset speed settings, which are denoted by five illuminated LEDs. By pressing a button, a 15 or 60 minute feed mode can also be activated or deactivated. In addition, a moveable volute enables customers to change the output orientation according to their demands, whether it be horizontally or vertically (up or down). The projected lifespan/product life expectancy of OCTO VarioS under typical use is 10 years. Note that this pump is not pressure-rated. This pump should not be used for applications on the second level or to supply Beckett or downdraft skimmers with consistent pressure.
