The demands of hobbyists were considered when designing Red Sea Reefer Internal Protein Skimmers. With soft rubber soles, a strong air silencer, and the FoamView window’s integrated manual neck cleaning, all of these features are geared toward simpler maintenance and a quieter reef tank. Red Sea’s Reefer Skimmers, starting at the top, now have an incorporated neck cleaner that can be manually twisted to remove any build-up from the walls of the neck. Additionally, an integrated FoamView display allows you to observe how the foam is accumulating in the neck. Emptying the collecting cup only has to be done once, and connecting it to an external waste collector is quite simple thanks to the cup-drain tubing that is supplied.
The Sicce PSK pump, which is included in every Red Sea Reefer Skimmer for improved performance and dependability, forces a balanced quantity of water and air through the hydrodynamically effective bubble diffuser to prepare them for a turbulent free ride into the collecting cup.
