At a significantly lower cost, the Apex Controller is just as potent as the company’s flagship model. The ApexEL is a terrific way to start taking complete control of your tank because it comes with everything you need to get going. The ApexEL omits several of the capabilities included in the normal Apex model, such as variable speed ports, salinity monitoring, and ORP monitoring, although these functions are readily added using Neptune Systems accessory modules.
You can now connect to the internet even more easily thanks to included WiFi. Everything is simpler with the Fusion Cloud interface, from calibrating probes to configuring outlets. Fusion enables you to keep an eye on and manage your Apex from any location in the world.
The Neptune Systems EnergyBar 832 is completely compatible with the ApexEL and has stronger outlets, separate LEDs that display each outlet’s condition, and monitoring of power use per outlet. The inclusion of 1Link ports for accessories like the DOS and WAV pump, which can now connect directly to the EnergyBar 832 conserving space and eliminating untidy wires keeping your tank’s equipment looking immaculate, is an added plus to the EB832.

Apex Control System
The pH and temperature of your aquarium may be monitored straight out of the box with the ApexEL Head Unit. The brand-new design also has a sleek, rotating mounting mechanism that enables you to easily access probe wires and aquabus connections while securely installing the Apex system’s brains.
Built-in reliable WiFi
Connecting your ApexEL system has never been simpler thanks to built-in WiFi. Connecting and controlling may be done in a matter of minutes using the entirely free Fusion cloud-based software. Now, you may update the firmware on your local network using WiFi.
EnergyBar 832
One EnergyBar 832, which is included with the Neptune ApexEL, has eight separate 7 amp relayed outlets, allowing you to utilize any outlet for any device. Each individual outlet has the ability to track and detect power use in amps or watts, allowing you to set alerts and send emails when pumps have failed or clogged, lights are not turning on, or heaters are leaking current. This allows you to be alerted to a problem before it arises. Knowing how much each pump, heater, and light costs per kilowatt hour of power allows you to make better judgments about the overall cost of your equipment.
The built-in 100W DC power supply allows you to control up to 3 1Link accessories like the WAV circulation pumps and DOS fluid metering system without the need for any additional power supplies or consuming additional outlets. Each EnergyBar 832 also has two 24VDC accessory ports that can power small pumps, solenoids, fans, and more. Additionally, the EB832 features three AquaHub connectors that enable you to extend to any current or future module, making the ApexEL System truly infinite.

Neptune didn’t stop there; the EnergyBar now features an entirely new mounting technique that positions the power strip correctly while maintaining cable organization. While the outlets are positioned opposite of one another and have a somewhat larger spacing, enabling room for those large transformers, you can plug in nearly anything and everywhere.
Lab Grade Double Junction ProbeÂ
Your readings will be more consistent and you won’t need to calibrate as frequently using a double connection pH probe. Calibration of your probes via your dashboard is now simpler than ever thanks to the Apex System. No more guesswork or needing to interpret RAW data; the dashboard will automatically detect when your readings have stabilized and let you know when to go on to the next phase.
Apex Fusion
Fusion is a cloud-based platform that enables global access to your ApexEL. allowing you to monitor and manage every part of your aquarium using your phone, tablet, or laptop. This includes the ability to tweak outlets, create reminders, and track testing parameters.
A new iOS app from Apex Fusion has been made available and now seamlessly interacts with your ApexEL Controller System. With the app, you can now receive notifications from your Apex Controller on your Apple desktop, Ipad, or phone. Emails and SMS messages are no longer necessary.
Compatible with all Neptune Accessories
Old modules, head units, energy bars, and other Apex accessories are all compatible with the new ApexEL Controller without a hitch. Connect a Neptune PM2 module if you want to add salinity monitoring, and a PM3 module if you need to add dissolved oxygen monitoring. The Neptune Systems ApexEL is the best reef tank aquarium controller since it is compabitle and extensible.
