The clever Neptune COR-20 Return Pump is unquestionably the smartest pump on the market. You can directly connect to any Apex controller via an Aquabus Port, but you are not required to have one if you don’t have one. The COR-20 offers advanced control features that can be found by using the Apex Fusion Cloud Software in addition to being able to operate independently.(Apex required). Make the switch to a COR pump right away to see the difference.

Saves Energy
Temperature Monitoring
Extremely Quiet AquaBus Communication Connection
2000 GPH Maximum Internal or External

Don’t have an Apex? No Problem!

The COR-20 can be used in a standalone manner or in conjunction with an Apex. In either case, the controller enables you to exert straightforward control over the pump, such as adjusting the speed as needed. The COR-20 has a lot more potential when connected to an Apex Controller!

Advanced Control

Control was a primary consideration when the COR pumps were being developed. With Apex Fusion, you can monitor and manage everything, including the COR’s output %, real-time operational feedback, contrasted feed procedures, and pump condition. You can adjust the COR pump’s flow rate and feed mode after plugging it into an accessible Aquabus interface and pressing a few buttons. You may control the minimum and maximum flow rates for your aquarium by turning on IQ-Level.

Neptune Systems COR-20 Flow Chart

Up to 2000GPH

The COR-20 can pump up to 2000 gallons per hour thanks to its strong head-loss slope. Each COR pump comes with a number of various output fittings so you can match the output to the plumbing capacity of your reef aquarium at the time. It is recommended to use the largest 1.25″ Union supplied, but it is completely okay to use the other 0.75″ or 1.0″ adapters.

IQ-Level Technology

Every COR pump from Neptune Systems comes with IQ-Level technology since no two aquariums are the same. Set your tank’s plumbing’s minimum and maximum speed settings to the ideal flow rate. Don’t forget to adjust the minimum flow rate for the feed and in-tank flow modes as well.

Whisper Quiet

The most recent Vector Control, BLDC motor technology is used in Neptune’s COR. Driving the COR pump in a way that is extremely energy-efficient, vibrating and noise-free, and uses less than 50W at full power.

Operational Feedback

Always be aware of the status of your pump. With all of the features that COR pumps offer, you can keep an eye on the “heart” of your aquarium and make repairs before they break. Pumps’ internal parts are prone to calcium and other mineral buildup from saltwater aquariums, which can obstruct flow but, more importantly, could harm the pump. You can monitor the pump’s internal temperature, wattage consumption, and flow rate with Neptune Fusion, and you can set alarms and alerts to notify you if anything deviates from the normal range.

The COR will actually slow down until temperatures return to a safe level if the temperature of the pump rises to unsafe levels, giving you time to react and maintain the pump.
