Innovative Marine’s new Helio range of aquarium heaters uses cutting-edge PTC (positive temperature coefficient) technology to go above and above the requirements for reef aquarium heaters for increased safety and dependability. The Helio heaters were created using PTC technology from the aquaculture sector, which depends on solid-state ceramic chips that are controlled to attain a specific temperature, as opposed to conventional heating components that use resistance wires to generate heat. The heaters are inherently resistant to overheating because of these intelligent ceramic chips, and the PTC smart controller constantly interacts with and keeps an eye on the heating components to keep the temperature consistent.

The Helio heating system’s components were all designed to function together. A titanium remote temperature sensor and twin heating element power lines are installed on the PTC smart controller. There is safety in redundancy from the temperature sensor on the controller since each heating element has its own internal temperature regulation mechanism. Additionally, the system gains another level of security if twin heating components are used. Corrosion is avoided by using commercial-grade titanium screws and heating sheaths. Holders for rare earth magnetic heating elements provide the best possible water flow. Easy maintenance and upgradeability are made possible by the temperature sensors and heating elements on the controller’s quick disconnects.
