The Vectra™ can be programmed to automatically calibrate to your tank. This smart feature prevents back siphoning as a return pump and also provides a neutral flow condition in feed mode.
ReefLink is compatible with all VectraTM pumps. Reeflink provides completely wireless access to the world of EcoSmart® Live, EcoTech Marineweb-based ®’s aquarium command center.

QuickCouple components are included with the Vectra Pump; these fitted couplers allow for easy installation, cleaning, and adjustments. The Vectra also has the ability to rotate the pump’s volute to meet the needs of your plumbing setup.
The Vectra’s default mode is Constant Speed, which causes the pump to produce flow at a constant speed determined by the position of the dial.
The Vectra pump will temporarily pause the current mode and idle, allowing food to be added to the tank without cycling through the overflow and filtration.
Speed Lock allows you to lock in a desired speed on the pump by disabling the control dial, protecting you from unintentional and not-so-unintentional speed changes.
The Lagoonal Random mode mimics a low-energy lagoon environment. The pump’s speed is gradually increased to simulate the gentle currents of a lagoon.
Reef Peak Random mode mimics the environment of a high-energy reef. To simulate crashing waves and surging tides, the pump’s speed will change frequently and dramatically. This is a popular SPS coral.
Gyre mode generates a flow pattern composed of uniform clockwise and counterclockwise flow levels pulsing at intervals ranging from two seconds to two hours.

When used as a return pump for your sump, traditional AC pumps are flow controlled by a choke valve. For two reasons, this method of control is inherently inefficient. To allow for flexibility, the AC pump purchased must frequently be overpowered for your given setup, and electricity is wasted by adding artificial impedance to your flow. Because there is no need to use a flow restricting valve to achieve your desired flow rate, the Vectra pump will always operate at peak efficiency.
When used in conjunction with the ReefLink, your Vectra pump can send performance and status alerts directly to your mobile device or computer. Your return pump is the heart of your aquarium; the sooner you learn about an unexpected problem, the better.
