The Blade Grow offers immense power in a thin package. Coral Grow features a LED mix that maximizes spectral peaks needed for coral photosynthesis. Use alone or augment with the Blade Glow for a color combination that fits your needs.
The demands of coral for photosynthetic activity are well met by a ratio of blue and white diodes. The deep blue to blue (400–500 nm) band of the spectrum, which has been demonstrated to be a very effective marine spectrum range, is where the Blade Grow produces its output.
The AI Blade Grow makes use of a cluster group setup. Approximately one cluster group per foot is included in each Blade Grow size. The remarkable balance and shimmer that the Blade Grow platform produces is a result of tight grouping and well-placed diodes. The following 24 diodes are part of each cluster group in the Blade Coral Grow.
One of the most crucial parts of a sophisticated lighting system is optics. The Blade Grow’s EdgefieldTM technology produces consistent PAR, slick color blending, and outstanding spread.
Edgefield optics are unique to the Blade Grow and provide an incredible 95 degree spread while achieving unparalleled light mixing all the way along the Blade Grow’s length. The specular exit surface produces a vivid, natural shimmer in your aquarium.

The tank rest extends up to 4.5 inches on either side of the blade (for a total of 9 inches).
For Blades over 39.1 inches Blade Mounting Clips are included.
These clips are compatible with the AI HMS Single-Arm and HMS Hanging Kit rails. Different application? No problem, the Blade has many other mounting options available or use the clips with your custom mount.

Blade Coral Glow is made to maximize fluorescence, while Blade Coral Grow is made to maximize PAR efficiency. Get the best of each by combining them. Although a 2:1 Grow to Glow ratio is ideal for achieving peak performance, one of each is completely appropriate when less light is required.

Have excellent lighting already, but want to add more or bring out fluorescence? Blade can handle it. Go ahead and personalize your aquarium lights as you like! They are simple to use with your current Radion or Hydra fixtures and so simple to attach that they will work with many others.
The Blade Hanging Kit from AI is an elegant way to suspend your light above your tank. Made of high-quality brushed aluminum in an attractive black finish. Available in 3, 4 and 6 light configurations for all size Blade fixtures.
Kit includes: 2 bars, appropriate number of Blade mounting clips and V-wires. For use with the HMS hanging kit (sold separately).

The Elevated Tank Mount makes for an attractive and sturdy solution for mounting your AI Blade™. Mounting for rimmed or rimless tanks, the elevated tank mount increases light spread and allows for easier access into the aquarium.

The Hybrid Mount allows for Blade mounting using either the AquaIllumination Hydra or EcoTech Radion pendant fixtures. Each kit contains two mounting bars and clips to use with the HMS, RMS or equivalent multi-light hanging kits. Works with one or multiple Hydra or Radion fixtures (not for use with HMS or RMS multi-light tank mounted rails).
